The special egg timer

This egg-timer got me a hug from Don. We used to have one, but it died. In fact I dug through many boxes to locate it, but only then did we discover that it was dead.
They’re hard to find. You put them in with the eggs and the color changes to indicate how done they are. Usually, I just set a timer. But this thing has heat sensors and is more fun. ;)
See, I went out to lunch and BookCrossing with Amber, and we visited Bed, Bath & Beyond. I was looking for toilet rugs, but refused to pay $20 for a cut-out rug (the kind that goes at a toilet seat’s base). Then I saw a wall of gadgets and went, “I wonder.”
And now, you know what the answer was.
