An evening at the symphony

Filed in Daily Image
Stockton symphony orchestra

My friend Amber has season tickets to a set of concerts, and this was number four. I particularly enjoyed hearing all of Beethoven’s Fifth, which is famous for its da-da-da-daaaa (as sung by Ford Prefect to the Vogon guard who was about to jettison him out of the spaceship). Thing is, there’s a lot more to it than that first movement, and this was the first time I’d ever heard it all.

I’d forgotten how much music can send a shiver down my spine.
