Blather around a virtual range

This was the darnedest thing! Don called me out to have a look. The ground was literally seething with ladybugs–hundreds of them. I haven’t seen this many since Britain got infested with them in 1976. Yes, 19-seventy six. Anyone have any idea what might have been going on here?
