Dear JR,

I’m aware that you sleep on the bench underneath our loft. You’re aware of this too. So, when I emerge from the loft–and I’m no spring chicken so I do move slowly and there’s commotion like other cats leaving the bed and bedding making interesting swooshing noises–I’m quite sure you’re aware of this and have plenty of warning. It’s not like you don’t move quickly when you have to.

Therefore, don’t you think that the correct solution to my standing on your tail would not be to hiss, but to actually move? Hmmm?

Just sayin’.
