Little pieces of ice

Filed in Blog, Daily Image
Hail

For the first day of summer, we had one doozy of a thunderstorm. It went on for over twelve hours, and swept right overhead at least three times. Each of those times, heavy rain and hailstones fell from the sky. That’s quite a racket when you’re sleeping directly underneath the roof of the RV!

I always remember hearing the thunderstorms when I was at camp. The rain had such a distinctive sound on the roofs of the cabins. I loved camp.

You’d get the same effect here, as well. I did school camp once and enjoyed it (though it was big tents and a bunch of horrid eleven-year-olds…blech.)
