Goosed

This is the closest I’ve ever been to a Canada goose. They tootled up to visit while we were goofing off at Lodi Lake this afternoon.
Then, later, I found a picture of myself aged at most 13, big grin on face, at Fairburn Ings.
We used to visit the Canada geese there, too.

We’ve had large and small flocks of Canada geese at the pond next door from time to time, but they won’t let me get close. I don’t want to frighten them away, so all my pics have been from a distance.
