Flutterby

There were hundreds of these mostly-black butterflies flitting around Woodson Bridge State Recreation Area. Their flower of choice appears to be the valley larkspur with its pretty purple flowers.
I didn’t suddenly become a botanist; the flower was included on an informational sign at the entrance station. ;)
