Not a hole

When I took this picture I was trying to capture the image of the stained glass window at the far side, visible through a broken hole in the window at this side.

I didn’t manage that, really, but I was captivated by the way the shadows from the palm tree were dancing across the sidewalk, along with the shadows from the trees across the street. The delicate filigree pattern seems somehow to complement this old church, now sadly in need of repair.
