Blather around a virtual range

Camanche Reservoir is a few tens of miles east of here, and I was specifically looking to be beside water for the New Year (the ocean is more usual for me, but it was too far today). A boat was coming in as I watched and the ripples spread far across the lake. It was rather peaceful and beautiful, with the bare deciduous trees framing the lake shore.
