Blog Stew: 13 January 2008
Filed in BlogHere’s a (mostly) weekly roundup of posts that have piqued my curiosity over the last week or so.
Daily Blog Tips has an interesting article about blogging in non-technical industries. There’s definitely some food for thought there. And, there are tips for handling flamers and trolls, too.
It’s a bit too late for the holidays, really, but Skellie wrote a guest post on North x East about ways to thank your blog readers. Still, I think the principles apply to any time of year.
And again, out of season, but She Became a Butterfly highlighted thirteen awful Christmas tree decorations. I particularly like the frosted dog poo.
Gratitude Journal had some thoughts about criticism.
In case you missed her White Raven Award, I think everyone needs to check out the baby boy pee guard for Wee-Wee Man, from Lulu’s Laundry Blog.
Seth Godin has something to say about not dumbing down your writing.
And this? This is parenting. A mother sells her teenaged son’s car because he breaks the rule: no alcohol in the car. But look at how she does it!
That’s it for this week! Enjoy.
