Blog Stew: 09 February 2008
Filed in Blog StewFinally, enough links to share again! I have quite a collection this week.
To make you smile
The Pioneer Woman has ballet positions for cows. As for the Purple Moose, she lives in Alaska where they make their own fun. Then, from elisem, there’s the Wiccan rede (basic tenets) written in LOLcat. And let’s all add to Pet Monologues’ traffic surge with the Wisconsin Bird Feeder.
And may I please present Pond Wars?
Just plain nifty
Tink has thirteen book titles with 13 in them. How could I resist? ;)
Lives Less Ordinary has come up with a couple of gems. Check out this playground for seniors–playing is not just for kids! Then look at these shells, most ordinary treasures.
Phelan from A Homesteading Neophyte turns her life as a homesteader into drama.
Uplifting
Icing has lots of ways to rescue your worst day. And this is probably my most favoritest post ever–from No Impact Man, at least. It pretty much sums up how I feel about “downgrading” from a 728 square foot home to a roughly 200 square foot one.
Have a great weekend!

Now I know for sure that this world is a crazy place! LOL!! I always wondered what they did for entertainment in Alaska and other places that it snows all the time, now I know! It does look like fun except for the bear. Do you think he was hungry or just curious? this is a great post, thanks for the entertainment. LOL!!
Love and Blessings,

Angel: pleased to meet you! I think the bear was probably attracted by the food…it’s why it is now strictly forbidden to feed bears in the wild, as they get used to being around humans. You have to put your food in metal boxes or hang it from trees and apparently that doesn’t always work either ;)
