A floating loo

I wasn’t sure I’d heard right, but I had. This is a floating loo. It’s called the S.S. Relief.

Wow, the lake’s low, too.
Both Trinity and Whiskeytown Lakes (I learned to swim in the latter) are more heavily used than they were when I was young, and they were newly filled, and Redding had <20k people in it. (It’s five times the size as it was when I was young.) I’m not surprised they’re heavily used enough to demand this.

It’s definitely weird to see all those trees creeping along the base to the water.
